Here below is a detailed description of the GPWS Mode 5 alerting logic:
The Mode 5 provides alert when the aircraft flight path descends below the glideslope beam on front-course ILS (or GLS or SLS) approaches.
This mode is active during approach, if valid Radio Altitude is less than 1000 feet AGL and the landing gear is down.

The Mode 5 uses xLS data which can be ILS or GLS or SLS which depends on mode of MMR. ILS, GLS and SLS are precision approaches.

The Mode 5 is inhibited when valid MMR Mode data is received, and this data indicates that FLS or mix-FLS mode is selected (FLS is non precision approach).

感谢同事的问题。 在 FCOM DSC-34-SURV-20-10 B DESCENT BELOW GLIDE … 阅读更多

[113

5
post-5458","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-fly
https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/dfe71d09a1a83f49a02a4400c69ef2c361c2d967eae2ffeeb6318b73a0da763f?s=96&r=g","0":null,"1":"","2":"","3":"","4":"","5":"","6":"","7":"","8":"
["GET
